Fantasy
This is an Xtranormal animation. You will need a Flash player in order to watch it.
One of the most popular Fantasy series is Harry Potter. These books led to my pursuit of a Masters Degree in Library Science and the desire to become a school librarian. I am a big fan of the underdog and I challenge anyone to not root for Harry Potter after reading the first few chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. While there are many different Fantasy series and books, Harry Potter will remain my favorite.

The Harry Potter series is excellent, but I must confess that by the time I finished reading _Sorcerer's Stone_, I was far more intrigued with Snape than Harry. Don't get me wrong--I didn't hate Harry, and I'll admit Snape is a jerk. But as a character, he was much harder to figure out where he stood and he kept me guessing as to which side he was on almost right up to the end, and I felt he had greater character growth than Harry in the end. Harry you could always count on to end up doing the right thing, but Snape was anything but predictable. Perhaps I like Snape more because I'm also a fan of the mystery genre.... :)
